Hello Estela,

Rainy Sunday afternoon - good day for a trumpet bath. Approximately how often should a trumpet bath be done?

thank you,

Hi Matt, great question! I would say if you play your horn every single day indoors, once every 6-8 weeks should be sufficient. If you often eat or drink anything aside of water and then play then once a month. I play my horn most days of the week, never eat or drink before playing and do a bath once every 10 weeks or so. I get a bit lazy about it!

@trumpetheadquarters thank you Estela! This is a very helpful maintenance metric.

Thank you,
Matt
